November Updates in 5th and 6th

 

Hello everyone,

Welcome once again to our class blog. Grab a cup of tea, make yourself comfortable and have a read of our little blog! We have been wrapping up our learning of world war one this week. We have almost completed our projects, and we will present them to our class tomorrow. We are experts at this stage! We have been busy rehearsing for the Peace Proms, and learning tin whistle. We have all mastered the scale, and we are now learning 'Wake Me Up' by Avicci. We have been acting out war scenes in drama, and there's definitely some budding actors and actresses in the room!

 We were making up stories with our story cubes in drama.

 Drama Games..

 We have music every morning for twenty minutes. Usually we practice the tin whistle and our peace proms songs. Today, Tristan brought his guitar to school, and he played 'Wake Me Up', which we have been learning on the tin whistle! We all joined in and had a sing song. What a lovely way to spend a Thursday morning! These are they types of days we will always remember fondly.

We are almost at the end of our Private Peaceful novel.
