Goodbye for now Kilcoskan

I'm heading off on a new adventure  so for now it's goodbye KNS.

I'm passing on the reins to Muinteoir Valerie who I see is a master blogger so I'm looking forward to keeping up to date on the events, learning and adventures of 5th and 6th class.

Learning about lungs

We're making our way through the systems of the body. Looking at the respiratory system made what we learned about the circulatory system make more sense. 

Another experiment... 

Now we can really see how the lungs work. 

Democratic elections the KNS way

Well done to all the candidates who shared their really great ideas for our student council. 

The decmocratic process elected our class councillors - congratulations Olivia and Ava.

Rolestown chess blitz

Well done to our chess players today. 👍We all worked hard with some wins and losses but I know we've learned loads about strategies and the rules of chess. 

Friday festivities in a rainy Kilcoskan

Great group problem solving session...

Painting super still life drawings focusing on colour mixing, shades and tones... 

and we're pros at procedural writing using imperative verbs and time connectives. 

Oh and we finally finished 'Benny and Omar' the class novel with only a few tears,😢 it was a bit of an emotional roller coaster at the end. 📖
