Sam Maguire visits Kilcoskan

Today we were a very lucky school to get a visit from a very famous cup. 

Sam Maguire took a trip around each of the classes where the children got to see and touch this famous cup. 

The whole school got together to take a photo with this famous cup in front of the school. 

Thanks to our local GAA club for making the visit happen. 

Construction Art

As part of our art curriculum we explored construction today. 

We had a look at photos of unusual houses and then planned our own "wacky" house design. 

We used recycled materials to try and create our designs as close as we could. 

Some of our designs used glue to hold them together so we will have to let them dry before we paint them. So check back to see some photos of the finished projects! You may even get some ideas for your own house project!
