Our Barnardos Fundraiser and Eurolympics

5th and 6th class have been very busy in our final few days. Today they were busy painting nails and face painting for the whole school, all to raise money for Barnardos. We also had our sports day, which was a mixture of the Olympic Games and the Euros. We had an obstacle course, orienteering, relay races, Olympic games and playground games.

We are enjoying our last few days together here in 5th and 6th class. 5th class are really going to miss rang a sé!

June 2016

We had an exciting delivery on Friday afternoon in 5th and 6th class. Our Blue Star certificate arrived! The children worked really hard, and really impressed our  MEP, Lynn Boylan when she visited, so I am very proud of them! 

 I have been snapping photos like crazy of my 6th class as the last few days approach.

School Tour 2016

Hi everyone! We went to the Shannon River Adventure Centre for our school tour last Tuesday. We had so much fun! We played archery, we went on a climbing wall, we went pier jumping, kayaking and on a mud slide. It was the best school tour ever by all accounts!

Pet Day and Sunny Weather in Kilcoskan

Last week was Pet Week in Kilcoskan. We really enjoyed it. Teacher Valerie brought Sonny in on Friday and we had a great time playing chase with him.

 Lots of the students in KNS brought in pets. We had goldfish, dogs, a rabbit, hamsters and more.

 The weather has been just remarkable this week, so we did a few lessons outside. Our tyres are quite comfortable to sit in!
