Dancing, by Lucy, Ileta and Olivia

When you dance, you’re showing emotion in your routine.
Here are a couple of tips to help, dance like you mean it and pretend no one’s watching!

By Lucy.

Try and practice your dance until you get it right.
Dancing is art that you create to make you and others feel better.
Don’t dance the moves, feel them. Then you’ll see how well you’re doing!

By Ileta

1.     Stretch every day.
2.    Practice, practice, practice.
3.    Work on higher jumps, controlling your turns and improving your balance.
4.    Listen to the song the dance is to.
5.    Dancing the moves don’t just do them, lose yourself in the dance and have fun.
6.    Think about detail, pointed toes, straight legs and hand position.
7.    Think about the song, if it is a strong song be strong. If it’s a happy, up-beat song be happy. If it’s emotional song, be emotional.
8.    When you are turning pull your tummy in it helps balance.
9.    Be yourself this is the best tip we can give you. Dancing is a form of expression so own yourself!
