Writing Story Books in 5th and 6th

Hi everyone!
5th and 6th class are working on an exciting project. As part of our narrative writing, we are writing story books for infants! It is much harder than it sounds. We have to go back to basic sentence structure, basic plot lines, use of alliteration and so on.  We also had to ensure the books covered themes which are important to us in school. We are focusing on friendship and anti-bullying at the moment. We are almost finished now, after a lot of work! We will be reading them to the infants once they're finished. They will be available in big book format, a regular book format and digital format.

Brainstorming is the most important part!

 Creating the book cover:

We even made the characters for the infants to hold!
